Product and fit

What does Mossaic do?

Mossaic brings AI assistance, business rules, human decisions and actions in connected systems into a business process. It helps coordinate the steps from an incoming request or changing situation through the decisions and follow-up work.

Is Mossaic for a particular department or industry?

The process can involve several functions and systems. The examples cover requests, document reviews, operational changes and planning cycles. A useful starting point is work that repeatedly needs people to gather information, coordinate decisions and chase the next action.

Which process should we start with?

Choose a recurring process with a clear owner, an observable end result and a coordination problem worth solving. A few recent cases can reveal where information goes missing, decisions wait or agreed actions need chasing.

AI and human decisions

Where does AI fit into a process?

An agent can be assigned work such as reading information, assembling context or preparing a proposed next step. Rules and process steps define how that contribution is used. The agent's inputs, tools and responsibilities are configured for the task.

Can a person review a decision before an action happens?

Yes. A process can include a human task for the responsible person to review information and make a decision. The next actions follow the configured decision path. Approval requirements need to be defined when the process is designed.

What happens when information is missing or an action fails?

The process needs an explicit path for missing information, failed actions and unresolved decisions. That may involve another request, a retry or a task for a person. The appropriate behaviour is configured and tested for each implementation.

Connections and data

Can Mossaic work with our existing systems?

The existing platform includes connectors for tools such as Slack, HubSpot and Google Sheets, plus APIs, databases, email and file storage. Your systems, account permissions and required actions need to be assessed and tested. A connector listing does not mean an account is already connected.

What is MCP, and do we need it?

Model Context Protocol, or MCP, is a standard way for AI applications to use tools and data from other systems. It is one connection option. Whether your process needs MCP depends on the tools and access required; an existing connector or API may be appropriate instead.

What information can an agent access?

An agent uses the inputs and configured tools assigned to its work. The underlying connection also has its own permissions. Data access, AI providers and handling requirements need to be established and tested for your implementation before sensitive information is used.

Getting started

What will we cover in a demo?

We will discuss a process you want to improve and walk through how information, AI assistance, rules, people and system actions can fit together. We can then identify the connections, decisions and implementation questions that need a closer look.

What should I bring to the conversation?

Bring one recurring process and, if possible, a recent example with sensitive details removed. It helps to know where the work starts, who gets involved, which systems hold the information and what counts as complete.

How is a process implemented?

Implementation starts by agreeing the process, ownership and desired result. The relevant connections, agent tasks, rules and human decisions are then configured and tested. Scope, delivery responsibilities and timing need to be agreed for the work you choose.
